On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading entity in the automotive industry, we are currently seeking candidates for a contract position. This opportunity is available immediately on a 12-month contractual role.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Taxation Advisor to join our Finance & Procurement division. The Finance & Procurement Division is responsible for providing the business with corporate support with respect to all finance and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with statutory tax obligations and provide expert tax advice to the business in relation to various transactions including review of tax related policies with a view of continuous compliance process improvement.
  • Ensure timely compliance with tax lodgements and reporting obligations, including preparation and review of income tax returns and income tax provision calculations.
  • Preparation of CbC reporting and various submissions to the parent company.
  • Assist with tax authority reviews and audits.
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgement of FBT returns.
  • Preparation and review of monthly BAS.
  • Good to have assist with Lead the preparation and review of Payroll Tax return.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation and deliver tax specific training across the organisation.

Qualification / Experience:

  • CPA or CA qualified with 5+ years of proven taxation experience in a large multinational organisation or in a large professional firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian income tax and FBT
  • Ability to prepare tax returns through to lodgement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management with the ability to multitask.
