About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team at Living Energy Pilates and Rehab Studio. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored exercise programs. This is a part-time position based in our Macleod, Melbourne studio.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise programs for clients with various health conditions and injuries
- Implement exercise interventions, including pilates, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning, to help clients improve their physical function and overall wellbeing
- Implement special programs such as GLAD, Onero, Young Athletes and Active Aging
- Manage a clinical case load of Medicare / DVA / Workcover / TAC / NDIS patients
- Monitor client progress and adjust exercise programs as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic approach to client care
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Pilates and Rehab Studio by sharing your expertise and helping to expand our service offerings
What we're looking for
- Masters degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field
- Registered with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates are required
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-centred care
- Passion for helping clients improve their health and wellbeing through evidence-based exercise programs
- Please note: You must hold or be willing to obtain a current Working With Children's Check and a current National Police Check prior to commencing.
