Empower Exercise Physiology is seeking an passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic private practice in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. As an Exercise Physiologist in our part-time role (with an option to progress to full time) you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, evidence-based exercise rehabilitation and chronic disease management programs to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop personalised exercise programs for clients with a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic health conditions
  • Providing one-on-one and group exercise therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their health and fitness goals
  • Collaborating with other allied health professionals, such as physiotherapists and GP's, to ensure coordinated, client-centred care
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our exercise rehabilitation services

What we're looking for

  • Masters degree In Exercise Physiology or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop innovative, evidence-based exercise interventions
  • Registration with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or eligibility for ESSA accreditation
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
