Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist (Casual) to join the Northern Health Exercise Physiology team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:
This Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist has responsibility for the provision of high level, evidence based general exercise physiology care. The role may provide clinical care across acute and sub-acute campuses at Northern Health on a casual basis.

The Grade 1 or 2 casual Exercise Physiologist (EP) will predominantly work in the Community Therapy Services (CTS) setting and has responsibility for the provision of high level, evidence based exercise physiology care. The role maybe involved providing care across various modes (i.e. telehealth, centre based, home based, community integration) and can be a mix of individual assessments and the running of various groups. The role may also provide clinical care across acute, subacute and community programs at Northern Health campuses as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Accreditation in Exercise Physiology with ESSA
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated sound clinical skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
