We are an established vascular surgery practice located in St Leonards and Frenchs Forest. Led by a talented and passionate team with our own specialised vascular ultrasound laboratory, based at both locations. We are committed to providing high-quality vascular services to the local community

Qualifications & experience

  • Proficient use of Medical Practice Software — Shexie Platinum
  • Proven experience in Medical Practice Management
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and billing practices
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach
  • Ability handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work as a team player

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Managing appointments and inquiries, patient triage, and communicating relevant information to patients, GPs and other health professionals
  • Managing theatre operating lists, including liaising with Public and Private Hospitals
  • Finance responsibilities - billing, invoicing, receipting, daily reconciliation, Medicare batching, private billing, debtor collection
  • Overseeing medical supplies and equipment
  • Promotion and marketing of the practice to relevant audience, and also drive the expansion of the referral network
  • Ensuring the practice IT systems are relevant and support the efficient functioning of the clinical service
  • Maintain robust administrative processes and ensure compliance with relevant SOPs, Medicare etc
  • Development and continued review of practice systems, policies and procedures to maximise productivity in the workplace and patient care
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accreditation
