ROLE OVERVIEWWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Manage the successful delivery of multi-stream lifecycle upgrade projects involving meter data management, market transaction publication, and AMI network systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of integrated infrastructure and applications, ensuring seamless interaction across enterprise platforms including data management and market-facing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with best-practice project governance standards.
  • Proactively identify, document, and manage project Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) to minimise disruptions and maintain project momentum.
  • Lead change initiatives across business processes and systems, ensuring proper communication, training, and transition support for impacted teams.
  • Manage project budgets and financials, and deliver clear, accurate progress reports to executive and steering committees.
  • Drive collaboration across testing, development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery of milestones.
MORE ABOUT YOU
  • Prior experience with Itron platforms (IEE, MTS, UIQ, SIQ).
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stream projects within the electricity distribution or energy industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Network Management Systems (NMS), metering technologies, and distributed energy systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects involving application and infrastructure integration, particularly in regulated or high-stakes environments.
  • Experience managing upgrades or transitions of enterprise software platforms such as meter data management systems and data collection tools.
  • Strong project governance and execution skills across financial management, resource planning, RAID logs, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Adept at working under pressure, prioritising competing demands, and adapting to shifting timelines and project scopes.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Project Management certification.
