Assistant to Revenue Accountant

Austbrokers has a fantastic new opportunity for an Assistant to Revenue Accountant available on a permanent basis. Austbrokers is a part of the AUB Group, and the revenue team is responsible for the accounting functions for various Austbrokers Members. The receipting is processed on the CBS system (Complete Broking System), which is used by the Insurance Brokers to process invoices to their clients and then the AMS Revenue Team receipt the payments against the Insurance policies.

The role would be to work directly with Revenue Accountants in the AMS Revenue Team and the responsibilities include:

  • Cash and credit card receipting
  • Daily Bank Reconciliation
  • Filing documentation
  • Payments to Clients and Third-party Brokers
  • Direct deposits
  • BPAY File uploads and premium funding uploads

We are seeking someone with good numeracy and reconciliation skills and accounting systems experience as well as proven attention to detail with accuracy and figures.

Additionally, we are looking for someone with:

  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Excel/Word/Outlook, always develop high standard presentations of company documentation.
  • Exemplary organisational skills, identifies priorities and meets competing deadlines.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in accounting, analysis and administrative procedures.
