Finance Business Partner – FP&A (APAC)
to join our Group Finance team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Hong Kong.

As
Finance Business Partner – FP&A (APAC),
you will drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across the region. This role is a key partner to senior business leaders, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost efficiency, and long-term financial health. As part of our finance team, you'll help shape business strategy while supporting a world-class guest experience.

*Strategic Financial Leadership*
Develop & Implement Finance Strategy – Align financial planning with Merlin's global business goals.

Executive Advisory – Provide senior leaders with financial insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.

Business Partnering – Work closely with commercial teams to ensure financial insights drive business success.

*Financial Planning & Analysis*
Financial Modelling & Forecasting – Develop models to provide accurate, data-driven insights.

Budgeting – Lead budgeting processes, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimisation.

Variance Analysis – Identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.

*Operational Excellence*
Financial Reporting – Deliver high-quality reports that translate data into actionable insights.

Performance Metrics – Track and analyse key financial KPIs to drive efficiency and profitability.

*Risk & Compliance Management*
Risk Management – Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Internal Controls – Maintain strong financial processes aligned with global best practices.

*Global Finance Operations*
Cross-Regional Collaboration – Work with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial planning and reporting.

Senior Leadership Support – Address complex financial queries and drive financial transparency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering within a large, multinational organisation.
• Experience working in FP&A within a corporate finance function, ideally within the entertainment, hospitality, or leisure industry.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
• Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights that drive business performance.
• Strong understanding of financial performance metrics, financial analysis, and modelling.
• Ability to lead and influence business leaders, with the capacity to drive financial improvements across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Understanding of business practices and cultural nuances, with experience managing teams across multiple regions.
• Ability to navigate complex financial challenges and provide practical solutions.
