**About the Role**

An opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Partner to join icare to support the Senior Finance Business Partner with enhancing analysis and reporting on the Nominal Insurer Portfolio and partnering with key stakeholders across icare, including senior stakeholders to improve financial management, identify and deliver process improvements and be a key player in budgeting and forecasting.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Finance Business Partner **you will:

- Provide expert advice to the Senior Finance Business Partner, GM Financial Performance & Analysis and key portfolio stakeholders.
- Produce high quality internal management reports to enable effective business decision-making.
- Provide accurate information and assistance in managing financial performance.
- Understand and be able to explain icare’s key business performance indicators across the Nominal Insurer Portfolio (financial and non-financial) and how these link to the internal management reports prepared.
- Understand and be able to explain key drivers and top down constraints when developing forecasts and budgets.
- Liaise with the business and provide advice and insights to deliver financial outcomes as required, including end to end ownership of specified business relationships.
- Identify process improvements and solutions to issues which have been identified.

**Skills & Experience**
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant with a Degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics.
- Several years’ experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry - preferred
- Extensive Finance Business Partner experience with strong stakeholder management skills and proven success in engaging with a business to reach optimal outcomes - essential
- Strong problem-solving skills with a big-picture perspective and ability to think ahead and outside the box - essential
- Willingness to take accountability/ownership, resilient, adaptable with a positive “can-do” attitude and a team-based approach to work.
- Ability to be able to present insights and findings to senior stakeholders
