ABOUT THE ROLE:

Infinet Service Logistics is a provider of time sensitive supply chain and technical field services solutions to the consumer electronics and ICT sectors. We are looking for  a technically minded, passionate, energetic, and dynamic Field Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidates must have a registered ABN, business insurance and reliable vehicle capable of holding a selection of parts.

Remunerated is on a per job basis.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • The installation, upgrade, maintenance, replacement, decommission and de-installation of POS, Laptops, and other IT devices
  • Providing customer service and on-site training to users
  • Spare parts direct drive deliveries
  • Maintenance of vehicle stock.
  • Meeting or exceeding 2 hour, 4 hour, NBD and NCD KPI's and SLA's

Applicants must be available to perform services 5 days a week between 8am and 6pm and be available for after hours, weekend and public holiday coverage on a rotational basis.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Technical / Electrical / IT qualifications are not required but are highly advantageous.
  • Field service, practical IT, or POS service experience is preferred.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive, highly organised with a focused on customer service.
  • Proven experience working in a flexible and autonomous environment

You will be required to work in a flexible, time sensitive, fast-paced environment and on average complete 3 – 5 jobs per day. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic and have good time management skills.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.
