A well-established Residential Construction business is expanding in the Illawarra and is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer / Accounts Clerk to join our small, supportive team.
About the Role
You will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of our business, working closely with clients, contractors, and our existing team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- General administrative duties
- Liaising with clients and contractors
- Bookkeeping and accounts management
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Payroll processing
- Purchase Orders and bank reconciliations
- Project job costing
About You
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in bookkeeping and administration (ideally within construction)
- Proficient in Xero accounting software
- Intermediate level Xero proficiency including reporting capabilities required
- Strong understanding of accounts processes and project costing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Australian work rights required for this position
