ABOUT YOU

With a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, you're a passionate educator, a skilled learning designer and a strong relationship builder.

The moment you spot a problem, you're the first to pitch a new program, process, or partnership that will make things better for young people. You've built a reputation for noticing what's not working, designing a smart solution, and delivering on real and measurable impact.

You're a confident learning designer who can move effortlessly between research-backed pedagogies, data-informed decisions, and creative ideas that make learning engaging and relevant. You have a way for making learning land for young people.

Your superpower is building fast, authentic relationships. You're a great listener, a warm and generous coach, and the person people naturally come to for support and guidance. You can make a room of 100 students stop, look, and listen—or sit alongside a first-year teacher and help them find their feet.

You can juggle competing priorities, stay proactive with your time, and you genuinely love a challenge. Every day is different, and that's exactly how you like it.

You love education and you're looking for a meaningful and impactful way to make a difference for young people throughout Australia, and beyond

Essential:

1.     YOU'RE A CREATIVE AND CONFIDENT LEARNING DESIGNER

You can demonstrate how you have leveraged data and research backed pedagogies to design learning that is engaging and impactful, differentiating with ease to meet the needs of different learners or contexts. You have a strong understanding of contemporary learning approaches, including Project-Based Learning, design thinking and entrepreneurial pedagogy, and experience of aligning these with the Australian curriculum. n short: you know how to design learning that invites young people to explore, create, problem-solve, and take the lead.

2.     YOU'RE AN EXPERT RELATIONSHIP BUILDER AND AN ENGAGING COMMUNICATOR

You can command the attention of a room full of Year 9s just as confidently as you can build warm, generous, and credible relationships with educators. You're a great listener who uses what you hear to coach, support, and empower others, creating partnerships that feel genuinely collaborative and human. Whether you're facilitating with hundreds of students or working one-on-one with a teacher, you bring presence, empathy, and a knack for bringing the best out of people.

3.     YOU'RE A DOER.

You're flexible, energetic and well-organised and can demonstrate both a positive team-focussed attitude and the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision. You anticipate problems and come up with actionable solutions. You're agile and adaptive and use feedback as fuel to get better. You're comfortable using (or learning to use) tools (such as Trello, Slack, Google Suite & similar) to manage your workload efficiently and to juggle sometimes competing priorities, maximising positive outcomes for stakeholders and the organisation.

4.     YOU HAVE A BOLD VISION FOR THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION

You don't just talk about the future of education—you actively build it. You stay curious about local and global trends, and you have a demonstrated history of turning ideas into real-world change, whether through new programs, processes, or partnerships, that make education better for young people.
