Connect2Employment is a not-for-profit division who support opportunities for participants under the Inclusive Employment Australia program.We support individuals withIntellectual Disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment.

We're now seeking a Senior Employment Officer – Employment Services to join our team based in Ipswich. Part of this position will oversee other areas including Ipswich area. Initial Training will be held at our Cleveland Head Office.

In this role, you'll lead a team of Employment Consultants (ECs) and Employment Support Workers (ESWs) to deliver meaningful employment outcomes. You'll ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with Connect2Group's goals, the Inclusive Employment Australia contract, and individual NDIS plans.

This position would involve:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance support to your team
  • Oversee service delivery across NDIS (SLES & IES) and Inclusive Employment Australia programs
  • Coordinate referrals, caseloads, and participant transitions
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, employers, schools, and other stakeholders
  • Promote Connect2Employment's services within the local community
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, legislative requirements, and internal policies
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and support audits and reviews
  • Manage risk and incident reporting in line with safeguarding practices

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV or higher in Disability, Employment Services, Community Services, or related qualification.
  • Proven experience in employment services, disability services, or a related field.
  • Experience with School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES).
  • Familiarity with DES/NDIS guidelines and person-centred planning.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Understanding of NDIS-funded employment supports and the participant journey.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
  • Excellent documentation and IT skills (e.g., CRM systems, MS Office).
  • Current Driver's Licence and ability to travel as required.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • First Aid and CPR
