Gruyere Gold Mine is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.

Role Details:
Reporting to the Supervisor: Supply, you will contribute to the achievement of operational and strategic targets by ensuring minimal disruption to safety and production through the effective supervision of a comprehensive supply function ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, issue, security and storage of materials and equipment.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region. This role is offered on a 12-month Fixed term, Full time contract.

About the role:

  • Diligently apply and impart knowledge and skills in the leadership of the supply function.
  • Prepare accurate reconciliation of fuel and reagents to meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule timely deliveries of fuel and reagents to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to operations by the timely requisition and receipt of required materials.
  • Maintain a productive working relationship with planning and mechanical personnel, liaising with them to accurately understand their service requirements.
  • Proactively manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables.
  • Maintain a professional, results oriented team approach.
  • Store inventory received within the warehouse, so it is easily located within SAP.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring to the Supply team.
  • Conduct stock takes, ensuring sufficient human resources available to deliver the objectives of the task and client service delivery requirements.

About you:

  • You will have prior experience in a supply mining environment as a Senior
  • Current WA Drivers Licence
  • A High-Risk Forklift Licence & Senior First Aid
  • SAP experience
  • A high level of communication skills and ability to lead a small team
