Maintenance Manager

**About the role**:
InfraBuild Recycling have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Victorian Lead team. The VIC Maintenance Manager has primary responsibility for planning and coordinating the activities of the Maintenance team and provides leadership and guidance to managing maintenance issues across the state. This role will have a high level of interaction with the Victorian Operational Managers regarding the local deployment of operational processes and procedures as well as operational excellence methodologies and a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitor and manage repairs and maintenance expenditure within budget
- Monitor and support systems and processes to implement local improvement initiatives related to maintenance with supervisors and operations employees
- Implement the preventative/predictive maintenance program to ensure fixed and mobile plant equipment reliability
- Oversee maintenance projects and shutdowns for Laverton and other VIC branches according to project requirements and communicate project plans and deliverables to the team
- Conduct regular site safety walks, formal audits and safety observations and engage with team and operations employees around safety, identify hazards and ensure compliance to procedures and standards
- Monitor performance, competency and capability of employees
- Conduct 6 monthly reviews with direct reports including the establishment of development plans and maintain training records

You are a strategic and results-driven leader with a passion for optimising production and maintenance.

The foundations required to be successful in this role include:

- Suitable trade or engineering qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in a Management role within Maintenance, Production, Manufacturing or similar
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a highly effective communicator
- Demonstrated ability in advanced problem-solving techniques and driving continuous improvement
- Expertise in workplace continuous improvement programs, strategic maintenance development and leadership in fostering a positive safety culture.
- In depth understanding of operational processes, equipment management and maintenance strategies
- Experience on computer-based work management systems, i.e., SAP or similar will be highly regarded.
