The Opportunity:

Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional who thrives on winning and delivering exceptional results?  If you're motivated by growing accounts, capturing market share, and making a real impact in a growing business, this role is for you. We're looking for someone who brings energy, discipline, and a strong competitive edge - a sales professional who sets high standards, follows through on commitments and takes pride on consistently exceeding targets.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you'll play a key role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships, new business development, and market expansion. This a dynamic, customer focused position that blends proactive outreach with consultative selling and long-term relationship management.

You'll be part of a close-knit, ambitious sales team within a company known for its positive culture, commitment to professional development, and strong organisational values.  You will be supported by a manager who values open communication and continuous learning - ensuring you have every opportunity succeed in the role and grow your career.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth across key markets
  • Increase Medisca's share within existing accounts by uncovering opportunities and deepening relationships
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach, including market research, conferences, referrals, and cold calling
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business development activities and leverage Medisca's value proposition within Pharmacies
  • Support customers growing their business by recommending new revenue sources,  and products.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences, visit pharmacies, and participate in blitzes.

Travel:Two (2) to six (6) weeks per year to visit clients and attend trade shows.

About you:

  • Four (4+) years' experience in Sales , ideally at least two (2) in Business Development
  • Tertiary qualification/s in Science or Business is an asset
  • Proven sales success in a Business Development role
  • Proven abilities to network and maintain a professional and positive image.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Driver's License
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
