An exciting opportunity to join one of the best-known boatyards in Western Australia.
Blue HQ is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is well organised with a keen eye for attention to detail, strong work ethic and is passionate about a career in the marine industry. The Role doesn't require any previous experience but is desirable. Successful applicants will be trained to operate Marine Travel Lifts.

This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills and career progression. This is a full time 5 day a week role (Monday to Friday).

The role requires strength and stamina as you'll be involved in various physically demanding tasks.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently lifting and launching vessels using 30T, 60T & 210T Marine Travel Lifters.
  • General machine maintenance.
  • General yard duties.
  • Operating a marine forklift (training will be provided)
  • Awareness of workplace safety, health, quality and environmental standards.
  • Customer service

Skills and experience

  • Boat and boating knowledge desirable.
  • Forklift ticket an advantage.
  • Car license is essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of an organisation.

    Start as a Spotter at $34.61/hr and progress through Travelift training up to $43.26/hr.
