About the Role:
The Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere whether it is at the bar, in the restaurant, room service, conferencing and/or events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, noting dietary requirements or special requests.
  • Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
  • Regularly check in with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, including clearing and resetting tables.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
  • Upsell and promote specials, beverages, and additional menu items.
  • Accommodate guest requests and provide excellent service.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role.
  • Strong knowledge of menu items, with the ability to recommend food, wine, and cocktails (training provided).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work well in a team.
  • Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and carry/lift heavy items.
