The Role.

Ditch the advice industry status quo and use your skills to empower Australia's young people As an Associate with Fox & Hare Financial Advice you'll spend your days helping to build and implement the strategies that enable Australia's 20-45 year olds buy property, get invested and achieve financial freedom – whatever that means to them.

This isn't your traditional Associate role. Here, you'll be:

A trusted voice and 2IC.

You'll be guiding 20-45 year old wealth accumulators through the early stages of their finance journey. Think property purchases, first investments, and laying the foundations for financial freedom. Not a retirement plan in sight.

In charge of member cash flow:

You'll be writing and hold members accountable to the cashflow strategies that will bring their goals to life.

A key relationship manager:

You're not a paper pusher, writing strategies and never seeing them again. You'll need to follow up, hold members accountable and, at times, have difficult conversations about missed goals. Celebrating the wins make it all worth it, though

Shaping a new model of advice.

You'll collaborate with our team to build a groundbreaking new method of delivering financial advice, changing the game for young Australians and contributing to a more equitable future.

How you'll grow:

Learn how to build brighter futures for Australia's young people:

You will master the provision of advice on cashflow, debt strategies, superannuation, investments and insurance as well as general tax strategies. You'll learn how to help your members explore the financial options available to them, build a plan and help keep them accountable.

Master the art of the ongoing relationship:

You'll learn how to manage every aspect of the member relationship and be expected to prep for meetings, review advice documents, have input into / build strategies and answer ad hoc questions.

Specialise in helping people who look like you and your friends:  

Early career professionals, young women, young families and members of the rainbow community. No day or goal is ever the same and you'll be learning how to bring them all to life.

This role is a pathway to becoming a Fox and Hare Financial Adviser:

You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, be mentored by industry-leading advisers and, of course, complete the PY.

Who are you?You're a coach, a confidante and understand the struggles of young people in modern Australia. If you find yourself feeling comfortable around a range of different people and have a genuine interest in all the different ways they choose to live their lives – this may be the role for you.  

Prerequisites

• Minimum 2 years' industry experience – or able to prove you're exceptional.
• Has finished, is currently studying or plans to study an approved degree.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or working rights.

Skills Required:

·       Able to accept different types of people and the way they live their lives.

·       Natural communicator, great email manner and able to maintain a calendar.

·       Adaptable and embracing of change.

·       Able and willing to fund your own return to Sydney for our monthly requisite office day. Hint: be sure to work this one out before salary negotiations.
