The Opportunity:
- Full-Time 1.0 EFT | Ongoing contract of employment.
- PW3 $60,416 - $65,237 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Bourke Street Campus – close proximity to public transport.
The Administrative Officer in the Vocational Education and Training Nursing Program plays a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient management of the Nursing Department at Holmesglen's Bourke Street campus. The position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative functions, supporting teaching and leadership staff, and maintaining effective communication and service delivery to students, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
As an Administrative Officer, you will:
- Deliver day-to-day administrative and reception support to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Be the first point of contact, providing exceptional service and information to students and staff.
- Support leaders and teaching teams with reporting, meetings, audits, and communication tasks.
- Coordinate timetables, events, and marketing activities to enhance the student experience.
- Manage purchasing, records, and resources in line with Holmesglen's quality and compliance standards.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Proven problem-solving and organisational abilities, with attention to detail and adaptability to change.
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration (or similar) and demonstrated experience in administrative roles.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
