Australian Lawyers – Leveraged Finance Associate (New York)

Salary: USD $260,000+ plus bonus

E-3 visa eligible

A top-tier US law firm is hiring associates with 3+ years of leveraged finance experience. The role is based in New York and sits within a nationally ranked finance team.

The group advises borrowers, lenders, sponsors, issuers, and agents across the capital structure. Lawyers work on domestic and cross-border deals and gain exposure to current market terms from all sides of the table.

What's needed:

  • Experience in acquisition finance, recapitalisations, and restructurings
  • Background advising borrowers, lenders, sponsors, or agents
  • Exposure to middle-market lending and alternative financiers is preferred
  • Ability to manage key parts of transactions from diligence to closing
