If you're feeling stuck in your current role, with no clear pathway to partnership and limited opportunity in a top-heavy team - this role offers a direct and merit-based route to advance your career, free from traditional red tape.

You will collaborate directly with industry-leading partners and mentor a talented group of junior lawyers, while managing a diverse portfolio of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects spanning both front-end advisory and back-end dispute resolution.

  • Prosecuting and defending complex Security of payment claims and related litigation
  • Procurement strategy, contract drafting, and negotiation
  • Drafting detailed legal submissions and providing strategic advice

You will service an established client base with consistent workflow, applying your construction law expertise to complex matters while engaging directly with clients to deliver commercially focused outcomes.

What's on Offer

  • Work-Life Balance: A firm-wide hybrid policy (3 days in office, 2 from home), with team-specific flexibility
  • Bonus Structure: A transparent bonus scheme offering a good percentage of base salary upon meeting targets
  • Parental Leave: 26 weeks of paid parental leave available after just 6 months of service
  • Career Growth: A true meritocracy with structured career planning sessions and accelerated progression pathways with no lock-step or tenure requirements for partnership. Progression is based on merit, business development, and showcasing your contributions.
  • Inclusive Culture: Regular social and wellness initiatives, sports clubs, monthly firm-wide events, and a supportive, down-to-earth environment

Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years PAE with construction law background
  • Senior Associate or Special Counsel level
  • Lawyers with a strong background in commercial litigation with construction law exposure are also welcome
  • Leadership capabilities to guide junior lawyers
  • You will enjoy engaging directly with clients and delivering commercially focused outcomes
