About the role

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer, preferably at Special Counsel level, to join the Employment and Workplace Relations team in our Brisbane office.
Moray & Agnew's Workplace team advises on all aspects of workplace law including unfair or wrongful terminations, human resources matters generally, industrial relations, discrimination, harassment and WH&S. We act for major insurers, prominent employers and government organisations which makes for an interesting, varied and demanding practice.
This role is suitable for candidates wishing to work either full time or part time, and flexible working arrangements are offered. You are encouraged to speak to us about how we can make the role work for you.
About you
You will be a senior employment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' generalist employment and workplace experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience across all aspects of workplace law – including common law and statutory employment regulation, industrial relations, equal employment opportunity and work health and safety. Experience in servicing government clients, employment-related litigation and handling employment practices liability insurance claims will be highly regarded.
We are looking for a dynamic practitioner who is keen to advance their career. You will have a track record of providing high quality, insightful and practical advice on matters of employment law and industrial relations strategy, well-developed client relationship management skills, and excellent legal writing skills.
