About the Role
The Administrative Support Worker will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Health & Wellbeing unit. Reporting directly to the Executive Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of programs and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and taking detailed minutes.
- Assisting with contract management, including tracking deadlines and compliance.
- Supporting budget oversight through financial tracking, processing invoices, and preparing reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations, reports, and correspondence for stakeholders.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of health programs, initiatives, and events.
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
This role is vital to enabling effective service delivery and ensuring our Health & Wellbeing initiatives reach the community.
About You - Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
You will bring experience in business or office administration and demonstrate a strong understanding of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the health factors that impact them. You'll have:
- Experience in business or office administration.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, culture, and health needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking ability.
- Experience in contract management and financial tracking.
- High-level computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
