With a strong network of referral partners and a reputation for exceptional service, we're expanding our footprint and looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Relationship Manager to play a key role in growing our referral network and driving new business in the equipment finance space. This is a field-based role, ideally suited to someone who thrives on building genuine, long-lasting relationships and prefers being on the road rather than behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring Equipment Suppliers
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, meetings, and presentations with existing and potential partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Actively identify new business referral opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members of the business
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to help shape sales strategy and product offerings

About You

  • Proven experience in partner relationship management or business development – experience within financial services not essential
  • Confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Strong existing network of industry contacts (preferred but not essential)
  • Comfortable spending the majority of your time visiting partners on site
  • Current driver's license
