As the Principal Project Officer, you'll play a leading role in delivering Queensland's Enhanced Vegetation Management Engagement Project — a $9.8 million initiative improving how vegetation management and compliance activities are coordinated across the state. This work directly supports Queensland's commitment to reducing 

emissions from unexplained land clearing and achieving sustainable environmental outcomes. 

This role leads project delivery activities, reporting and governance, drawing on networks, data and evidence to achieve project objectives. Working with internal and external partners, it involves tracking progress, managing risks and monitoring outcomes to ensure the project delivers on time and to a high standard. 

It also provides authoritative advice, reports and correspondence for senior executives and stakeholders, while contributing to implementation that supports stronger engagement and compliance outcomes. Collaboration is key - engaging across government to promote transparency, education and consistency in practice. 

A major focus of the role is managing project governance and implementation that enhances operations and improves information sharing between business areas. 

With a balance of strategic perspective and attention to detail, this position drives meaningful enhancement across Queensland's vegetation management and compliance systems.
