We're looking for an experienced Mobile Mining Sales Manager to build strong relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver technical solutions for draglines, electric shovels, and hydraulic excavators across the mining sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within mining and heavy industrial sectors.
  • Identify and secure gearbox repair, upgrade, and replacement opportunities for mobile mining equipment.
  • Promote DBS's capabilities in engineering, manufacturing, and field service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored reliability and performance solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and present technical solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming maintenance programs.
  • Represent DBS at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Manage sales region performance in line with company targets and objectives.

About you

  • 5–10 years' experience in mining or heavy industrial technical sales/business development.
  • Mechanical knowledge of draglines, electric shovels, and hydraulic excavators (e.g. Bucyrus, P&H, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr).
  • Trade qualification or mechanical engineering background.
  • Proven success achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to mine sites.
