We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our dynamic project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major EPC/EPCM project, working alongside industry leaders in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This role involves leading the civil design effort across several key scopes—such as road realignments, bulk earthworks, and rail infrastructure

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to design and delivery. The ideal candidate will have:

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience on Rio Tinto projects from study phase through to execution and construction.
  • Familiarity with Rio Tinto Civil and Rail Design Criteria, Standard Drawings, and Specifications.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in 12D and MicroStation.
  • Ability to develop and oversee 12D earthworks models.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
  • Strong understanding of road, rail, and bulk earthworks design.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Ability to lead and participate in civil design discussions with clients, internal teams, and third parties.
  • Oversight of design drawing production, including technical direction and sign-off responsibilities.
  • Commitment to safety in design, quality assurance, and effective communication.
