Join our expanding Energy and Industrial team, utilising your experience as a Senior Civil Engineer as you collaborate with our wider teams.

Due to our growing pipeline of projects we are seeking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to support our busy team, currently undertaking studies on major projects within the WA market, across mining and mineral processing, bulk materials handling, defence, and water projects.

As a Senior Civil Engineer in our Energy and Industrial Team in our Perth office, you will enjoy working on a variety of large and small projects, and 'bringing ideas to life' for our Clients. This role offers a good mix of civil engineering design, project management, client relationship management, business development, mentoring and line management. We aspire to be a trusted partner to our preferred clients, working across the whole infrastructure asset lifecycle, advising on investments and decisions that drive value and proactively respond to disruptive change. Your diverse background and strength in design means you'll be comfortable providing technical expertise to a range of infrastructure projects across the land, civil infrastructure, buildings, and energy and industrial sectors that we operate in. • Apply your broad industry experience to defining and solving our clients' problems  

• Turn early concepts and preliminary design ideas into developed designs suitable for tender and construction 

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using a range of methods, including written analyses and reports   

• Bring your client-centric focus to deliver outstanding client service, stakeholder engagement, and develop new business 

• Understand the operational issues faced by businesses currently operating in the Energy, Resources and Manufacturing market sectors

• Take the lead and collaborate with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for technically complex designs

• Apply a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation and standards as they apply to individual projects.

• Provide input to project planning and resourcing activities

• Assume responsibility for the delivery of the civil components of projects

• Help to grow our Civil capability and reach in the Energy and Resources sector

• Project experience (suited to your career status) at all phases of a project's life cycle and particularly concept design, feasibility studies, infrastructure studies, technical management, and Design Management.

• Demonstrated technical ability as a design manger across complex-multidisciplinary projects.

• As a senior member of the engineering team, provide mentoring and support to foster ongoing capability building

• 10-15 years industry experience

• Experience within the WA resources sector is preferable

• Willingness to apply technical skills to all facets of engineering consultancy which may include design, leadership, management, client relationship management and work winning

• Attention to detail and knowledge across a range of disciplines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey mechanical engineering outcomes with suitable language that can be understood by clients, stakeholders, and other engineering disciplines

• Solid time management and organisational skills
