Job description

We are seeking a front of house & junior barista for a Gloria Jean's Coffee located at Tea Tree Plaza. You are welcome to either submit your CV online or in store (to the Team Leader only).

Skills required:

  • Hospitality industry customer service experience min. 1 year

  • Well groomed, neat presentation

  • A positive attitude

  • Experience in food handling/or willingness to obtain

  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on developing genuine relationships with your colleagues and our guests

  • Ability to prioritise the tasks during shifts

  • Must be flexible with working hours and able to work morning or afternoon shifts throughout the week as a barista

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving handcrafted and high-quality espresso beverages following Gloria Jeans Standards, along with a positive attitude

  • Handling cash at the register when taking orders and giving correct change

  • Managing the pastry cabinet and preparing food, abiding by the National Food & Safety Standards

  • Prioritising daily shift duties as set by the Team Leader/Store Manager

Schedule:

  • 5-6 hour per shift, starting with 2-3 shifts a week for successful applicants
  • Right candidated who pass the probation will get more hours and flexible work arragement if required

Pay: Up to $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
