Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Committee Office supports portfolio committees and the Parliamentary Crime and Corruption Committee in scrutinising government actions and shaping public policy.

You thrive in high-pressure environments and are confident in managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships. You bring intellectual rigour, political acumen, and a collaborative spirit to everything you do.

Your Key Strengths

  • Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality documents under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities, including experience guiding small teams.
  • Sound knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of the Queensland Parliament and its committee system.

Highly Desirable
