Set on a working vineyard in the Macedon Ranges and just over an hour from Melbourne, Cleveland Estate is part of the award winning Lancemore Collection. We are now seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our onsite a la carte restaurant and function spaces. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role—perfect for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and is passionate about building a capable, service-focused team.

About the Role

In this full-time, property-based role, you will:

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day running of our restaurant, bar and function service
  • Be present and proactive on the floor—leading by example to deliver genuine, polished hospitality
  • Coach, support, and uplift a small team, growing their confidence and capability
  • Work closely with our Executive Chef and property leadership team to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Drive high standards of presentation, service, and professionalism
  • Support rostering, stock control, compliance, and other key operational tasks
  • Help shape the future direction of the venue by improving systems, service, and team capability

About You

  • A confident hospitality professional with strong a la carte experience
  • A hands-on leader who thrives on the floor and sets the tone through action
  • Calm, capable, and solutions-focused, with a passion for service excellence
  • Proven experience in training and uplifting teams in a hands-on setting
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • Experience in functions or weddings is a plus, but not essential
