About the Role

This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day production planning in collaboration with the Production and Planning teams, maintaining effective client communication on upcoming jobs, and managing the procurement of components to meet customer orders.

About You

  • A proactive, independent, and practical problem-solver.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage daily production schedules in consultation with the Planning and Production teams.
  • Liaise with clients to plan and forecast upcoming jobs, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and verify incoming stock levels to confirm availability for customer orders.
  • Procure components as required, using the Qlik MRP system.
  • Utilise the SAP system to create sales orders, production orders, and manage invoicing.
  • Review job performance and provide updates to the Director/Head of Department regarding profitability.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate freight bookings and dispatch requirements where necessary.
  • Issue invoices upon completion of jobs.
  • Apply and promote Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles within daily operations.
