Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing transparency in logistics operations.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfilment, maintaining efficient inventory and stock levels.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient and timely logistics operations.
• Implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations, reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all data related to logistics and inventory management is accurately recorded in the system, supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting.
• Contribute to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights, supporting performance analysis and the achievement of KPIs.
• Act as the liaison between plant management and logistics teams, promoting effective communication and ensuring alignment on production and logistics priorities.

As part of the Plant Operations team in NSW, your role will be to provide effective administrative support to a service centre plant. As the glue that holds the team together, you will enjoy rolling your sleeves up and using your initiative. Based at our Kemps Creek plant

this role reports directly to the Service Centre Manager.

The Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include

• As the sole administrator for the plant, providing all round administrative support to the team
• Providing reliable financial information in relation to equipment and inventory balances
• Coordinating the Coordinating staff timesheets and entering data into the system for submission to payroll
• Coordinating all purchasing including stationery, PPE, uniforms, merchandise, business cards, etc.
• Providing administrative support for our safety and environment systems
• Some accounts payable and data reconciliation, including stock and inventory balances
• Ensuring the smooth functioning of all office based activities
• Maintaining all filing and records for cost centre management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Experience in a busy site administration role
• Some exposure to an industrial environment would be an advantage
• Previous experience in purchasing / stock control
• Experience working with SAP or like system;
• The ability to work with minimal supervision, using your initiative to get the job done
• High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint with exposure to SAP ideal
• Strong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people
• Exceptional organisation skills and strong attention to detail, with systematic and timely follow-through
• The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure
