The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Technical Services Advisor to join our Technical Services team based at our brand new, state-of-the-art head office in Kemps Creek. Reporting to the Training and Technical Services Manager, this role provides expert product and system advice, ensuring our customers and internal teams receive the highest level of technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to contractors, architects, homeowners, and internal teams.
  • Respond to and resolve technical enquiries, including system issues and customer complaints.
  • Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation such as system recommendations, datasheets, and bulletins.
  • Conduct laboratory testing to support product development and customer complaint investigations.
  • Deliver training workshops, presentations, and technical support sessions to clients and staff.
  • Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams to develop innovative technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and ensure ARDEX documentation remains accurate and relevant.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field (or trade background in tiling, waterproofing, or construction).
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical, laboratory, or construction-related role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Customer-focused, with a passion for problem-solving and delivering service excellence.
  • Practical experience in building, hardware, or trade environments highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and compliance requirements.
