The Role

We are looking for a switched on and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to work at our Hurricane's Grill & Bar at Cronulla Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager ensuring adequate resources are available.

· Adopt a sound knowledge of all menu items, products, and merchandise and upsell to maximize sales.

· Appropriately handle any enquiries, conflict, and complaints.

· Train, educate, and motivate all staff involved in restaurant service, demonstrating positive and assertive leadership styles.

· Manage staff performance.

· Opening and closing of the restaurant

· Ensure all staff follow the Responsible Service of Alcohol policy

· Cash management, ensuring tills balance at the end of each shift

· Ensure the recruitment process, training, and termination process is in line with company policy.

· Communicate with management and Head office at all times.

· Adhere to the company's hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.

· Strong knowledge of menu items and products.

· Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

· Demonstrated ability to train, educate, and motivate staff.

· Strong leadership and performance management skills.

· Experience in cash handling and balancing skills.

· Understanding the RSA policy.

· Familiarity with recruitment, training and termination processes.

· Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Please note that you will be required to work a mixture of weekdays ,weekends & Public Holidays.
