About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Island Bus Tour Driver to join our team at Tangalooma Island Resort. This full-time role will see you transporting guests around our beautiful island, providing engaging commentary and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating our island bus tours, navigating the island's sand roads and beaches
  • Delivering informative and entertaining commentary about the island's history, wildlife and attractions
  • Assisting guests on and off the bus, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the tour bus
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all resort guests
  • Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance requirements

Must have's

  • A current and valid Australian Driver's Licence, with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience
  • A current Queensland Drivers Authorisation (DA)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • MR or HR manual licence

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar tour guide or customer service role, ideally within the tourism industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and entertain guests
  • A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Knowledge of the local area and an interest in the history and wildlife of Tangalooma Island
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
