ABOUT THE ROLES

After completing your training, you'll be behind the wheel on these brand-new bus routes.

  • Route 501: Springfield Ipswich
  • Route 520: Goodna station Eden's Crossing
  • Route 522: Redbank station Springfield Central station
  • Route 523: Redbank Plains Augustine Heights Springfield Central station

DUTIES

  • Operate and maintain a bus efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the passenger experience.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Adhere to HSEQ policies and actively manage fatigue.
  • Perform pre-start checks, routine inspections, and refuel as necessary.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and punctually.
  • Follow company policies to promote a safe workplace.
  • Report hazards and participate in health, safety, and well-being initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a valid 'MR/HR' class license and PTA Bus Driver Accreditation.
  • Are a permanent resident of Australia or citizen of Australia or New Zealand.
  • Have held an unrestricted Australian driver's licence for at least 12 months within the last 24 months
  • Are prepared to work varying shifts
  • Are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination with a company medical service
  • Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and safe driving techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSEQ regulations and the ability to learn routes quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively read and comprehend instructions.
