Life Publishing Group produces print and online publications for four local newspapers, the Business Lifestyle publication Core Life Magazine, and the Travel publication Tripping Magazine. Based in the beautiful Whitsundays, we are passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging content to our diverse community.

About the Role

As our Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager, you will:

·      Design eye-catching graphics and layouts for print magazines, newspapers, and digital platforms

·      Manage and grow our social media channels with engaging content, campaigns, and community interaction

·      Contact and follow up with clients to obtain advertising material and ensure timely delivery

·      Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all media

·      Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimise content and audience engagement

Adapt designs for multi-platform use, maintaining high standards for both print and online presence

What We're Looking For

·      Proven experience in graphic design for print and digital publications

·      Strong portfolio showcasing creative, professional design work

·      Solid experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

·      Ability to create and schedule content, engage audiences, and track social media metrics

·      Experience in client communication and follow-up to gather advertising materials

·      Excellent communication and organizational skills

·      Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and social media management tools

·      A passion for storytelling through visuals and social channels
