We are currently seeking (for an immediate start);

  • Kind, reliable, and professional Disability Support Workers to join our team in supporting a young adult male living at home with his family (1:1 active, Southern Suburbs) and a young adult female living at home with her family (daily support, Western Suburbs)

  • These are unique opportunities to make a real difference in calm and caring home environments where routines and communication are key to the participant's comfort and success.

  • For both participants you will be working hand in hand with the participant's guardian/s who play a role in guiding daily routines and support needs. The right person will feel comfortable taking direction, respecting family preferences, and working together to provide consistent, high-quality support.

Additionally, we are seeking a team of Disability Support Workers for a third participant in the Northern Suburbs residing in an SDA dwelling that is supported on a 1:1 basis.

We would love to hear from you if you are;

  • Patient, understanding and adaptable. Able to work positively in a family-led environment

  • A clear and confident communicator in English, to ensure smooth and effective communication with the participants and their family

  • Respectful and professional in following household guidelines and routines

  • Reliable and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting people to live well

  • Experienced in disability support, particularly in-home or family settings (ideal but not essential)

Qualifications & experience

· Hold a Certificate III or above in Disability / Individual Support, Studying or equivalent (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing)

· Experience with Behavioural Participants (Desired)

· Current First Aid Certificate

· Current DCSI Screening / NDIS Worker Check

· Current Working with Children's Check

· Confident with computers, tablets and smartphones

· An unrestricted South Australian Driver's License

· Australian work rights are required for this position
