About the role

Join the Inspire Care SA team as a Disability Support Worker in Adelaide, SA. In this casual role, you will provide compassionate and personalised care to our clients with a range of disabilities, enabling them to live independently and with dignity. Collaborate with our dedicated team to empower our clients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
  3. Communicate effectively with the broader care team.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
  5. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our clients.

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualification or experience in disability support, aged care, or a related field.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care principles and the ability to tailor support to individual needs.
  3. Strong communication, written, verbal and understanding of the English Language, with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  4. Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity, and independence of people with disabilities.
  5. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, able to work autonomously.
  6. Current first aid certification and a valid driver's licence.
  7. Male and Female Support Workers are encouraged to apply.
