*About the Provider* This 'not for profit' aged care provider is well established having been in the business of residential care for over 150 years. They are well respected within the industry and are able to provide you with the support and all the tools you need to be successful in the role as you ensure the delivery of exceptional leadership within this large Residential Aged Care Facility.
About the RoleThis role is required to manage the facilities day to day operations including (but not limited to):
- Be responsible for the management and integration of all functions and services for employees to deliver leading aged care services that enhances the resident experience and the provider's brand
- Manage administrative tasks related to all requirements for meeting State and Commonwealth regulations, including employee, equipment, building, clinical needs, resident leisure, lifestyle and culture, environment, internal services and external services
- Ensure clinical governance is current and oversee/implement clinical care needs and compliance
- Undertake general human resource management at site level including recruitment, orientation, employees leave and Employees appraisals
- Meet and exceed revenue targets as per budget associated with occupancy and AN-ACC
About You You will have previous experience as a Manager in Residential Aged Care with a proven ability to lead a team of staff and maximise outcomes in performance and resident care. With outstanding communication skills, you will promote a consumer focused service – internally and externally - and be confident in leading individuals to be successful in their given role.
You will be required to contribute to continuous improvement activities to support the growth and consistent uplift of the services offered.
You will be an exceptional leader with an excellent proven track record in running a large aged care facility.
You will need
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 (unrestricted)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role in aged care
- Satisfactory police check or willingness to obtain
- Current Influenza vaccination
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
