What this opportunity involves: 

This is a full-time onsite position working in the client's Melbourne head office based in the Docklands.

As the Commercial Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for the delivery of customer and property services. Working with a team of 4 others on-site and reporting into the Account Director.

An Overview of the role:  

• Responsible for the delivery of customer and property services to a client's commercial portfolio

• Proactively develop and manage the relationship with the occupier and client to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded to facilitate works

• Managing operational and FM requirements for both the opening and closure of sites across their portfolio

• Ensure compliance with regulations / requirements of client contract and all facilities procedures

• Proactively manage vendors to ensure contractual objectives are met and risk is minimised 

• Incident management and emergency works oversight 

• Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the portfolio and share continuous improvement initiatives 

• Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence

• Proven experience working in corporate real estate/facilities, qualifications are desirable but not mandatory 

• Facilities Management experience in a commercial setting is highly desirable

• Experience with Office Relocations, Defects Management and Contract Amendments and Management would be highly desirable.

• Understanding of commercial critical environment management requirements

• Vendor management experience for specialised services 

• Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement skills 

• An understanding that Facilities management services involves the provision of both reactive maintenance and routine maintenance across the allocated portfolio with 24-hour call out / contact requirement
