Be the First Point of Care – Mental Health Call Clinician Needed
Play a crucial role in providing assessment, intervention, and support as part of the Mental Health Call service. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care, while contributing to service improvement and student education. Full-time and part-time positions available
About Your Role
As a Mental Health (MH) Call Clinician, you will deliver high-quality Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and/or Social Work services within the MH Call team, supporting people accessing mental health care. You will work in collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Conducting detailed clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Providing patient education, management, and discharge planning
- Liaising with clients, carers, and other health professionals for coordinated care
- Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and service development initiatives
- Supporting education and supervision of students and less experienced staff
- Contributing to quality improvement and research activities
About You
We are looking for a passionate and collaborative clinician who is committed to improving mental health outcomes.
You Will Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work
- Current registration or eligibility with the relevant professional body (AHPRA or AASW)
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centred, evidence-based care
- Strong communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing caseloads and maintaining accurate documentation
- Commitment to professional growth, quality improvement, and patient safety
