Tedesca Osteria seeks an expeienced full time Sous Chef for a kitchen that has recently been awarded Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year and currently holds two hats (Good Food) and 3 Glasses (Winelist of the Year).
We offer just 4 lunches a week, cooking in a wood fired oven, smoker and grill. We are seeking a creative person excited to work with fire, fermentation and in close association with our farm. In total we work 5 days, no nights and strive for a balanced workplace.
This is a job for an aspirational, caring, and committed chef who would love to join a small team, striving for excellence, but also striving to live a healthy, balanced life.
Most of our produce comes from our own biodynamic garden and from a small number of equally committed suppliers. We have a biodynamic vineyard, a farm, and close relationships with other small growers on the Mornington peninsula.
