We're looking for skilled Customer Service Manager to act as the main contact for customers and regional management, ensuring that Toll meets its DTL Government & Defence contractual obligations, operational expectations, performance measures, and financial management
Based at Moorebank Military Area in Moorebank

you'll be responsible for customer service delivery in their regions aligned with network locations and Defence counterparts and will report to the respective Regional Manager and may be called upon to perform additional duties or functions that support the business.

How you'll make the right impact
As a
Customer Service Manager
, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee DTL Government & Defence contract from Customer Service perspective
- Attend governance and command meetings at the contractual level in accordance with governance structure
- Review, develop/update and implement effective process, systems, practices and policies at a strategic level related to Customer Service
- Perpetuate a positive, proactive, team-based culture with a focus on providing effective coaching and feedback
- Provide oversight to Regional Manager(s), Senior Managers Operation Planning, Safety Environment and Compliance, Contract and Commercial, Organisational Development, Distribution Optimisation and Warehousing Optimisation to drive continuous improvement and ensure training programs are implemented and maintained in line with DTL contractual requirements, quality standards and expectations
- Participate in management reviews of the QMS
What you'll bring
We're looking for motivated professionals who bring:
- Current or past experience in Government & defence is a MUST
- 5-7 years in experience in managing operations and Warehouse Management Systems
- Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Defence Security Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams across a variety of warehouse operations and geographical locations, ensuring priority is given to safe work procedures and encouraging attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with previous Defence warehousing and logistics experience (highly desirable)
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service and working with a team in quickly resolve issues
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with personnel at all levels, within and external to Toll
- Strong problem solving, financial, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Eligibility to make the grade

- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an
AGSVA Defence Security Clearance
(Baseline or higher). - Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
