The Opportunity:
Qube Heavy Lift has an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in Rockingham, Western Australia. We are seeking a highly skilled, practical Engineer (can be civil/struct or mechanical) who is keen to work out of a brand-new office, play with some interesting toys and be a part of an industry leading business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lift planning.
  • Site meetings/inspections.
  • Transportation engineering (combination planning, load restraint, stability calculations, swept path analysis etc).
  • Route surveys (measuring/scanning & reporting).
  • Office banter.
  • Heavy Lifting/Transport experience is preferred.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • A strong background in the heavy lift industry with a with a relevant qualification in Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide range of heavy lift cranes, specialist transport equipment including modular transport systems
  • Proven ability in the production of industry standard heavy lift, transport and swept path studies and procedures including load and stability calculations
  • You will have B.E civil/structural or mechanical (RPEQ or close to).
  • Experience with Autodesk software (Autocad/Inventor/Navisworks), strong project management and communication skills and a practical, solution-based mindset.
