VENUE MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Club. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, operational excellence, and compliance with relevant regulations. The Venue Manager will lead and inspire the front-of-house team, coordinate events and activities, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for staff and patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead, motivate and manage front-of-house staff, including rostering, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, health & safety, and relevant legislation.
  • Coordinate functions, events, and special activities in collaboration with other departments.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.
  • Ensure the venue is clean, well-presented, and operates to the highest standards at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with members, guests, suppliers, and the local community.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a Venue Manager or similar leadership role (preferably in hospitality, clubs, or restaurants).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality operations, compliance, and service standards.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
