MindChamps Australia – Parramatta, New South Wales- Full time - On site
About MindChamps
MindChamps is a global leader in early childhood education with over 150 centres across Australia and Asia. Our philosophy is built on empowering every child to achieve their fullest potential through nurturing care, research-based curriculum, and strong partnership with families.
As our People & Culture Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our onboarding and employee experience. You'll coordinate our weekly induction sessions, guide new hires through their training and induction to ensure consistent onboarding across our business, and support our broader People & Culture team with general HR administration and reporting.
This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who loves building relationships, thrives on organisation, and enjoys seeing others succeed.
What You'll Do- Host weekly inductions for new team members, creating an engaging and informative first impression of MindChamps.
- Coordinate the full onboarding journey in conjunction with the Hiring, from offer acceptance through to completion of probation.
- Manage and track new hire check-ins at Week 1, Week 4, Week 8, and Week 12 to ensure a smooth integration.
- Support new employees with their onboarding documentation, compliance, and HR system set-up.
- Maintain accurate employee records and reports on new hires and onboarding progress.
- Assist the People & Culture team with generalist HR support, including recruitment coordination, policy administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Continuously improve induction materials and processes to enhance the employee experience.
You're a people person through and through — approachable, organised, and proactive. You love creating meaningful first impressions and thrive in a role that's equal parts administration and connection.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in HR coordination, onboarding, or people administration (early childhood or education sector experience ideal, but not essential).
- Strong communication and presentation skills — you'll be leading induction sessions weekly
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (experience with HR platforms like Employment Hero, BambooHR, or similar is a plus).
- A warm, professional, and approachable manner.
- A genuine passion for creating positive employee experiences.
- Be part of a purpose-driven organisation shaping the future of education and child development.
- Join a collaborative and supportive People & Culture team.
- Opportunities for learning, growth, and career progression within a growing organisation.
- Enjoy a culture that celebrates creativity, care, and connection.

- Competitive salary with 75% childcare gap fee discount.
- Supportive, inclusive team culture and modern office in Parramatta.
- Career growth opportunities within a trusted and expanding early learning group.
- Ongoing professional development and training.
