ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team. This role is based in Brendale, 4500. Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of the vehicle registration/de-registration process and experience working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Highly advantageous if have experience/knowledge working with the AutoReg system. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively without close supervision and have high attention to detail. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5.00pm.
In this role your key responsibilities would include:
- Checking registration status of vehicles proposed for auction
- Acquiring or cancelling vehicle registrations on behalf of Pickles
- Preparing related documents in line with Pickles and Department of Transport and Main Roads requirements
- Extracting and providing reports to vendors as required
- Corresponding with the Department of Transport and Main Roads regarding vehicle registrations
- Stock management and cancellation of QLD damaged vehicle registrations on behalf of other departments and branches within the wider business as required
- Administrative duties associated with the auction process including data entry
- Delivering outstanding customer service to vendors, buyers & colleagues
- Teaming with branch staff and management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the branch and auctions
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A current and valid driver's licence, Manual drivers licence is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of the vehicle registration/de-registration process and experience working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (highly desirable)
- Knowledge and experience using AutoReg program (highly desirable)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced administration role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team as well as independently
- Competent oral & written communication skills
- Efficient; organised & able to prioritise competing tasks
